2. Estimates & Pricing

  • Estimates may be provided verbally or in writing.
  • Final pricing may vary based on equipment condition, required parts, labor, and unforeseen issues discovered during service.
  • Applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges may be added to your invoice.
  • Payment is due as stated on the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service where appropriate (for example, unsafe conditions or non-payment).

3. Appointments & Cancellations

Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations may be subject to a service or trip fee at our discretion.

4. Warranties & Liability

Any manufacturer warranties on parts or equipment are provided by the manufacturer, not by Staats, unless specifically stated in writing by us. We may offer limited workmanship warranties, which will be described in writing when applicable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use or lost profits.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific services at issue.

5. Customer Responsibilities

By requesting our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete contact information and service details.
  • Ensure safe access to the property, equipment, and work areas.
  • Notify us of any known hazards, including pets, electrical risks, structural issues, mold, or other safety concerns.
  • Comply with our technician’s reasonable instructions regarding safety during and after the service.

6. SMS & Email Communications

By providing your phone number and/or email address, you authorize Staats to contact you for:

  • Scheduling and appointment reminders
  • Service updates and technician notifications
  • Invoices, receipts, and service documentation
  • Customer service follow-ups related to existing or recent services

We only send messages related to customer transactions and customer service. We do not send promotional marketing texts or emails.

Opting Out

  • For text messages, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
  • For emails, you may use the unsubscribe link (if provided) or contact us at office@staatsac.com.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

7. Third-Party Services & Tools

We may use third-party platforms and tools for scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, payments, and communications. These third parties may have their own terms of service and privacy policies.

While we take reasonable care in selecting such providers, we are not responsible for errors, outages, or security incidents that are solely within the control of those third parties.
